Located in the north of Mauritius, Cape Point offers 4 Exclusive Suites and a spacious penthouse, with balconies overlooking the crystal azure waters of the Indian Ocean. All suites are fully furnished, equipped and stylishly decorated with bright and airy rooms. The one goal of this resort is to make you feel at home in paradise. The resort features a beautiful tropical garden, with shady palm trees, a pool area, an outdoor bar area, a large deck furnished with sun-loungers and a comfortable lounging area equipped with hammocks overlooking the lagoon and the island Coin de Mire.
All the suites come with 3 bedrooms - each with their own en-suite bathrooms - a well equipped modern kitchen, a large and comfortable dining and living area, which opens onto a sea-facing veranda. Air conditioning and ceiling fans are provided in all bedrooms and dining room.
The 250 square-meter penthouses are perfect for groups and families; they have 4 bedrooms with air conditioning and ceiling fans. Both the master and second bedrooms feature king-sized beds, an en-suite bathroom, and a LCD TV; the third bedroom features a queen-sized bed and the fourth has twin beds and an LCD TV. The third and fourth bedroom share a common bathroom, which has a: free standing bath, shower cubicle and toilet. Guests also benefit from a full kitchen; they can dine together in a spacious dining area that has room for 8 people. After dinner everyone can relax in stylish and comfortable sofas in the common area.
The large windows throughout the apartments, as well as the sliding doors offer amazing views over the garden and the ocean.
Being in the north, Cape Point is located in a very quiet area, near the famous church of Cap Malhereux. The resort is conveniently located as a starting point for exploring the northern and eastern parts of the island. Although the area has a variety of smaller shops, guest are only a short drive away from Péreybère or Grand Bay which offer all the necessary things a tourist’s heart could desire.
There are several beaches in the area around the resort; however, most visitors drive to the larger beach in Péreybère. The beach right in front of Cape Point has rather unfavorable swimming conditions at low tide. At high tide the area is popular with snorkelers who want to view the interesting chorals and urchins.
Depending on traffic, Cape Point is only 7 minutes by coach or car from island’s tourist’s hotspot, namely Grand Bay. The resort is only about a one-hour drive from the airport and approximately 30 minutes drive to the capital city, Port Louis. Within only a minute’s walk from the complex is a bus stop and plenty of starting points for activities such as water skiing, diving, kite surfing, fishing.
Cape Point has well-equipped kitchens for guests who like to cook, but for those who want to relax drive a range of restaurants, as well as pubs and night clubs are only a 10 minute drive away. Guests may also ask our staff to arrange a hire a local look to come in and cook and finally guests can chose from a large selection of menus and have their gourmet meals delivered to their apartments.
